Brewing Instructions:

1. Place the Columbia on a flat surface, hold the handle firmly, and pull the plunger up and out of the carafe.
2. Add 1 rounded teaspoon (or 1 Bodum scoop) of coarsely ground coffee per 4 oz of water.
3. Pour hot water (92–96°C) leaving at least 2.5 cm / 1" at the top. Stir with a plastic or wooden spoon.
4. Set the plunger on top and turn the lid to close the pour spout to retain heat.
5. Brew for 4 minutes, then slowly depress the plunger. Open the spout and pour.

Note: Cup sizes are measured in European cup sizes — 1 cup = approx. 4 oz.
